About the Images

A mandala is an image based on concentric shapes, often containing symbols and having ritual or mystical signficance. It can be used as an instrument of meditation, and because it can represent the unconscious self can be used as a diagnostic tool.

Digital mandalas are kaleidoscopic images formed by digital manipulation of photographs. The images are usually printed in 8"x8" or 13"x13" but some are larger sizes and are printed on canvas (25"x25").

About the Artist

I live and work in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Many of my mandalas are based on photographs of nature while others are derived from fabric or textiles. You can find my work in the Womancraft co-op gallery , made up of local NC artists, at Eastgate shopping center, Chapel Hill, NC. There are prints in various sizes ready for matting and framing, framed mandalas, canvases, and greeting cards.
